October 2026 - Base UI Parity
Base UI versions of Checkbox Group, Combobox, Listbox, Mention, and Tags Input, plus Components and Utilities index pages.
Base UI and Radix UI now have the same components. Five components that only had Radix versions now have Base UI versions too:
- Checkbox Group
- Combobox
- Listbox
- Mention
- Tags Input
They're built on the same headless @diceui/* packages as their Radix versions, so they share the API, including asChild for composition. A render prop will follow once these primitives move into a single @diceui/react package.

The new Components and Utilities pages list everything in one place, with new items marked the same way as in the sidebar. The sidebar is also flatter: components and utilities are grouped under section headings instead of collapsible folders.
